A reminder if you have not already signed up for St. Marys Catholic Elementary School’s Kindergarten Readiness Camp registrations are due Friday, July 21st to the SMCES office.
The camp will be held July 24-27 from 8:30-11 am. (Thursday 7/27/23 | 8:30-12 pm-parents meet in the cafeteria @ 10:45 am)-Thursday activities include bus safety with a bus ride around town ending with a family picnic at the school from 11-12 pm.)
St. Marys Catholic Elementary School teachers will foster learning in a child-centered environment allowing growth in social, emotional, spiritual, and academic areas. Each day of camp will have its own unique focus to sharpen the skills necessary for kindergarten, such as letter, color, and number recognition, letter sound association, reading, handwriting, basic math concepts, fine and gross motor skills, active play/making friends, etc. Themed days will also take place, and the week will conclude with a family picnic at SMCES.
