St. Leo School recently installed a GaGa pit at their playground.
The new playground equipment was made possible through the Borough of Ridgway Charitable Fund Grant held at the Elk County Community Foundation.
Children were able to try out the new pit at last week’s Knights of Columbus movie night. Pictured is St. Leo School’s PE and Technology teacher Mr. Jeff Slattery. He explains Gaga ball is like dodgeball but in an enclosed area.
St. Leo School will also be purchasing new swings for the playground with the remaining grant money. Thank you to the ECCF and those who made this grant possible allowing our students and all of the children in the Ridgway community to enjoy the new playground equipment.
