Eagle Scout Honored

Congratulations to Elk County Catholic High School Junior Timmy Hetrick who was recently recognized and honored for attaining the Boy Scouts of America’s highest rank, Eagle Scout. Requirements include earning at least 21 merit badges, demonstration of Scout Spirit, and completion of an extensive service project that the Scout plans, organizes, leads, and manages.

Timmy is a member of Boy Scout Troop 199. He completed his Eagle Scout project in December 2022 building picnic tables and a bench for the city of St. Marys softball fields off of Robin Road extension. A ceremony was held at the Elk Visiting Center with Mike Armanini, Pennsylvania State Representative & ECCHS Alumni, Glenn “GT” Thompson, U.S. House of Representatives along with friends, family, past, and future scouts and scout leaders to honor Timmy and other Eagle Scouts.
