We have been informed that Fr. Eric’s local funeral Mass will be held at Queen of the World at noon on Wednesday, April 12. This will be preceded by a viewing at 9 am, and followed by a luncheon.
Given the anticipated size of this event, its timing across almost all of the school day, and the impact on parking, student pick up/drop off, bus access and cafeteria availability, we feel that it is necessary to shift to the FID and dedicate the campus to Fr. Eric’s funeral on Wednesday.
Queen of the World was Fr. Eric’s home parish. He had a special place in his heart for the church and school. Our administration, our faculty, our staff and our students loved him, and we are happy to make way for these events.
