AP Literature and Composition

This year’s poetry March Madness at Elk County Catholic High School was a huge success. Students in the AP Literature and Composition class spend the month of March reading, discussing, analyzing and voting on good poetry! This year’s winner, Love After Love by Derek Walcott who beat out Dead Stars by Ada Limon for the top spot. Students like this poem because although it seems simple at first glance, it is one that captures the importance of loving oneself just as God does.
