Students in Mrs. O’Leary’s Algebra class at St. Marys Catholic Middle School are working together to solve the start of algebraic story problems.
Students benefit from peer tutoring by working in small groups and learning how to work as a team. This enhances the students’ engagement, communication, and independence skills while promoting critical thinking and problem-solving based learning increasing the understanding of course content.
