Throughout the year, students at St. Marys Catholic Middle School participate in the school’s STREAM electives. The electives are designed to introduce to the students concepts in Science, Technology, Religion, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics.
Students in Mrs. Zampogna’s “Just LEGO” elective built four-wheeled vehicles to race on an inclined surface. After the initial attempt, students had the opportunity to redesign their vehicle to improve its performance. Pictured are some middle school students testing their designs in a class-wide tournament.
