Students at Elk County Catholic High School and St. Marys Catholic Middle School recently had the opportunity to participate in the Crusader 40 program. Crusader 40 is a school based Lenten journey designed for students and staff to bring us closer to Christ and to one another through prayer, sacrifice, and almsgiving.

Eucharistic Adoration will be open during lunch periods to encourage community prayer along with the option of a Rosary or Divine Mercy Chaplet after Mass on Fridays during lent. Fasting from cell phone use during school hours students and staff will be encouraged to unite in prayer of love and support. Through almsgiving each student and staff can give their time, talent, or treasure through listening, positive attitude, charity, and service.

Students decorated the school building as a reminder of their Crusader 40 pledge.
