To kick off Catholic Schools Week we would like to share why we love our school community here at Elk County Catholic School System! #CSW23

St. Marys Catholic Elementary School kicked off CSW with 100th Day of School Activities which included throwing 100 ping pong balls in a 100 seconds. Students also wore all colors of the rainbow to help raise funds for the community Fireworks Fund.

Elk County Catholic High School and St. Marys Catholic Middle School held a dress down day wearing their favorite sports team for today’s CSW theme of “Always be a Good Sport.” In celebration of Catholic Schools Week ECCHS and SMCMS students collected items for the new school “Crusader Kindness Closet.” Items such as non-perishable food, toiletries, household items, and school supplies will be available free of charge to students in need.

St. Leo School students held a School Spirit Day to help raise funds and to offer up prayers of love and support for a local youth who is bravely fighting Ewing’s Sarcoma. Students also met with their Prayer Buddies to work on placemats for the Grandparent luncheon being held on Thursday.
