On October 11th and 13th, the Elk County Catholic Cheerleaders held a cheer clinic for future, aspiring cheerleaders.
55 students from St. Marys Catholic Elementary School and St. Leo School were invited to participate in two cheerleading practices to learn dances, cheers and chants, stunting, and gameday etiquette.
The varsity cheerleaders worked with the students one-on-one to get them gameday ready to cheer on the sidelines for the Varsity football game against Cameron County on Friday, October 14th.
Each varsity cheerleader was paired up with a set of younger cheerleaders who would be their “cheer buddy” for Friday’s game. While at the game, the varsity cheerleaders and their little buddies cheered on the football team while representing Crusader spirit!
