St. Marys Catholic Elementary School would like to welcome Mrs. Julie Skellen to their faculty and staff!
Mrs. Skellen will be teaching Pre-4 am 5-day/week and afternoon Kindergarten STREAM course. She is a graduate of Lock Haven University with a degree in Elementary Education with a concentration in reading. Mrs. Skellen taught 5th grade in NC for 3 years, and long term leaves in 1st, 2nd, 5th, and gifted in Bellefonte. She taught preschool for 6 years at the Bellefonte Playschool, and most recently worked a HS Life Skills class instructional aide.
Mrs. Skellen moved back to Ridgway in 2013 where she grew up with her husband Rob, daughter Neeva who is a college freshman, and two cats Deliah and Tallie. In her free time Mrs. Skellen likes to decorate cakes, read cookbooks, and spend time with her family.
