Elk County Catholic High School welcomes International Student Thao Le. Thao is from Hue City, Vietnam and is a sophomore year here at ECCHS. Thao attended the Phoenix International School in Vietnam. Thao is the 7th student that has come to ECC from the Phoenix School to complete her secondary education.
Being an only child, Thao’s parents encouraged her to study abroad for a better education and to learn new cultures. Thao enjoys playing badminton and playing the piano. Thao loves to travel and could picture herself as a tour guide in the future.
So far, Thao is enjoying meeting new people and enjoying new foods here in St. Marys. She is looking forward to seeing the fall foliage for the first time and can’t wait to experience snow! When asked what Thao is enjoying most about ECCHS she said, “I have made new friends and I really like Algebra and SAT math classes.”
