The Crusader 1st & 10 Football Clinic was held last week after a two year hiatus due to the COVID pandemic.
The clinic was held under the direction of volunteer, ECCHS Football Statistician, and former ECC JH Football Coach JC Fritz, Crusader Varsity Coaching Staff Bill Crisp and Nick Werner, and ECC High School football players. The football clinic was open to students in kindergarten through 6th grade. Clinic directors combined modified throwing, catching, kicking, and blocking drills along with USA Football Youth non-contact drills to teach participants the fundamentals of football.
The kids learned to try different football positions while learning about the game, and understand how to work as a team and most importantly have fun!
