Helen Breindel Memorial Scholarship Recipient

We would like to congratulate Will Chapman as the recipient of the Helen Breindel memorial scholarship on June 1st during St. Marys Catholic Elementary School’s 5th grade matriculation ceremony.

Helen Breindel is the late mother of SMCES’s former principal Mrs. Mary Beth Schaut. Mrs. Breindel lived each day with Christ as the center of her life. She looked for the good in people, always finding Christ within them. Mrs. Breindel supported our Catholic Schools and had a strong devotion to the blessed Mother. This year’s recipient honors Mrs. Breindel in her kindness and acceptance of others. Congratulations Will!
