Teacher Spotlight: Mrs. Ann Marie Straub

Hometown: Brockway
Education: Mrs. Straub is a 2000 graduate of Brockway High School and a 2005 graduate of Clarion University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Education with a dual major consisting of Early Childhood & Elementary Education.
Family: Mrs Straub (formally Ms. Inzana) recently married Stephen Straub on October 16th, 2021. Steve is the owner of Straub Insurance Agency, Inc. in St. Marys & Emporium. Mrs. Straub has one daughter, Madison who is a Junior at ECCHS and participates in Varsity Volleyball, Varsity Basketball and Varsity Track & Field. Madison was also recently inducted into the National Honor Society as well as Confirmed in the Catholic Church. They happily reside together with their cat Nyla and their new puppy Sonny.

Teaching: Mrs. Ann Marie Straub will be finishing up her 6th year teaching spelling and social studies to fourth and fifth graders at St. Mary’s Catholic Elementary School. She also works the after school program at the school, is the Social Committee Director and helps out with other various activities throughout the school year such as Catholic Schools Week, Daily Press Articles & the Community Outreach Program.
