As part of a school-wide service project early in February, the students at St. Marys Catholic Middle School and Elk County Catholic High School held a collection of items for front-line workers during the pandemic. The students donated a variety of snack items and wrote notes of thanks to the staff members. The students collected for the following organizations:

Grade 12 collected for St. Marys Ambulance
Grade 11 collected for St. Marys Police Department
Grade 10 collected for Crystal Fire Department
Grade 9 collected for the Med/Surg. Dept. Staff at PHE
Grade 8 collected for the ER Staff at Penn Highlands Elk
Grade 7 collected for Pinecrest Manor staff
Grade 6 collected for the staff at Elk Haven

Pictured are some members of the Crystal Fire Department, St. Marys Police and St. Marys Ambulance receiving a portion of their donations from a group of ECC Students.

The Elk County Catholic Community would like to thank all of the local front-line workers for helping to keep our community safe and healthy.
