Guest Speaker at SMCMS

Recently Josh Gebauer held a zoom meeting with the 6th grade Science class at St. Marys Catholic Middle School about forecasting the weather.

Josh is a 2011 ECCHS graduate and son of SMCMS Assistant Principal Mrs. Dana Gebauer. Josh received his Ph.D. in meteorology from Oklahoma University. Currently, he is a research meteorologist at the National Weather Center in Norman, Oklahoma.

The sixth grade students just completed a unit on weather and Josh talked about his job, how meteorologists forecast the weather, and he answered their many questions about weather, especially tornadoes!
