Prayer Boxes

On Tuesday, February 1, as part of celebrations for Catholic Schools Week, St. Marys Catholic Middle School students gathered in the cafeteria and created prayer boxes as part of a school-wide art project .

Following the presentation of the movie “A Box of Faith”, all of the middle school students created their own Prayer Box. On February 2, during the school mass, Fr. Kevin Holland blessed the boxes. Pictured are a sample of some of the prayer boxes and 8th grade student Rachael VanSlander working on her prayer box.
