Natures Engineers!

The fourth grade students at Saint Marys Catholic Elementary School recently partnered with Natalie Aiello of the 4-H Science Program. The classes took part in a virtual lesson on beavers with a hands-on lab to follow. The object of the lab was to build a dam that didn’t leak using popsicle sticks, rocks, clay, and small bread tins. These students are working together to engineer a dam that holds water.
