Willow Visits SMCES Students

Willow visits students at St. Marys Catholic Elementary School’s after school club.

Willow is owned by SMCES’s Inclusion Education Coordinator Mrs. Kim Sloff. Sloff’s responsibilities include tutoring, testing, and reading to children, many of whom have extreme testing anxiety or struggle with behavioral issues. That is where Willow comes in to help ease the students’ anxiety. Willow is classified as an emotional support dog and her services during a pandemic could not have been more appreciated by staff and students!
