ECCHS welcomes Mr. Joe LaBenne to their staff!

Mr. LaBenne graduated from Ridgway Area High School in 1993 before attending Indiana University of Pennsylvania where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Health and Physical Education in 2000. Joe worked at Abraxas I in Marienville, PA for 11 years as a drug and alcohol counselor, a drug and alcohol treatment supervisor, and a health and physical education teacher. Mr. LaBenne will be teaching Health and Physical Education at Elk County Catholic High School.

“In my free time, I enjoy hunting, fishing, coaching baseball, and spending time with my family. My personal goal for this year is to build a positive classroom environment conducive to learning and to teach my students valuable skills that will help them to succeed in their athletic careers and future beyond high school. I look forward to a great year with all of my students, said LaBenne.”
