We will miss you Ngoc!

Ngoc Nguyen, Elk County Catholic High School international student from Vietnam, was finally able to go back to her home country today! Ngoc came to ECC her sophomore year and lived with her host parents, Greg and Dana Gebauer.

A special presentation of her diploma and awards were given to Ngoc on Wednesday at the Senior Awards Night as Ngoc was scheduled to fly back to Vietnam on Friday; May 28 and would miss graduation on Sunday. True to this COVID year, Ngoc’s flight got canceled at the last minute. Through the efforts of many people and a lot of prayers, Ngoc is now on her way to Vietnam!

We wish Ngoc the best of luck at the Savannah College of Art and Design when she returns to the US in the fall. ECC will miss you, Ngoc!
