Holy Week at Elk County Catholic School System was full of activities.
Students at St. Marys Catholic Middle School participated in the Stations of the Cross.
St. Marys Catholic Elementary School students in Mrs. Roberts’ Kindergarten class worked with different word families. They had to turn the Easter egg to form a word, sound out the word, and then write the word under the corresponding baby chick. As they turned the same egg it formed four different new words from the same word family.
Preschool students enjoyed an action packed 3 day school week. Activities included a Easter a egg show and tell, listening to the story God Gave Us Easter, a directed drawing of the Easter Bunny, and ending their week with egg coloring, and an egg hunt!
