“Take Up Your Cross”

Mrs. Gradl’s 3-year-old preschool class at St. Marys Catholic Elementary School used maroon and gold paint to make a cross, which is displayed as one large cross in the hall.

The project was inspired by their weeklong celebration of Catholic Schools week and gave Mrs. Gradl an opportunity to talk about why we celebrate Catholic Schools Week and to discuss the meaning of the cross.
