CSW SERVICE PROJECT AT SMCMS & ECCHS

As part of the celebration of Catholic Schools Week, students at SMCMS and ECCHS completed a community service project modeled on the movie “Little Red Wagon”. As part of the service project, the middle school homerooms selected a local community organization to collect items for.

On Wednesday students at SMCMS and ECCHS brought in items for these 9 community organizations. Students were asked to bring in an item for one of the organizations in order to wear relaxed dress clothing. Items were collected for The Maternity Closet, workers at Q-Care, residents of Elk Haven, the Elk County Humane Society, CAPSEA, Big Maple Farms Natural Therapies, the Boys and Girls Club, Guardian Angels Center and the UPMC Children’s Parent Center.
