The Advancement Office of the Elk County Catholic School System (ECCSS) is pleased to announce a scholarship donation from the St. Marys’ Eagles Club. This scholarship gift will benefit deserving students that attend ECCSS with an interest in attending a trade school or entering directly into the workforce.

Fraternal Order of Eagles (F.O.E.) is an international fraternal organization that was founded in 1898. Since the beginning, the F.O.E. has maintained a strong dedication to giving back to the community. St. Mary’s Eagles Club President, Mick Groll said, “he is proud of the job that ECCSS is doing to help our youth become young adults and recognizes the need our community has for skilled workers in the trades.”

While ECCSS offers many advanced placement classes for those students preparing for college, we also offer courses for those students focused on entering a trade school, directly into the workforce and also the military. This scholarship will benefit those students we are preparing to be successful in a trade.

ECCSS thanks the St. Mary’s Eagles for their support to our students and the community!

If you or your organization would like to make a donation that benefits the students of ECCSS, please contact Sue Jansen, director of advancement, at 814-834-1480 or advancement@eccss.org.
