Being kind is always a good thing. It is a virtue found in so few people anymore. In Mrs. Bosnik and Mrs. Bolitski’s homeroom at the St. Marys Catholic Elementary School, the students are learning about this virtue.
The 5th grade students helped the 1st grade students with their reading centers. The fifth graders not only enjoyed meeting with the younger students, but they also had a chance to earn their kindness t-shirts for the February kindness challenge.
On the last Friday of the month, the students could wear their kindness t-shirts for a special dress-down day. In the above picture, Brock Hanes, Jacob Babcock, Izzy Bennett, and Myah Gerber worked together to enhance their reading skills.
