Accountant/Finance Assistant
Elk County Catholic School System has an immediate opening for an accountant/finance.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Regular ledger account analysis
Participation in preparing and monitoring annual budgets
Assisting in financial aid distribution and tuition collection
Communicating with all ECCSS stakeholders, including parents, board members and diocesan officials
Preparing monthly reports for board and administrative analysis
Administration of vital programming such as grants and state programs
The ideal candidate will possess:
A bachelors in business administration or accounting, or a combination of education and work experience that shows a capacity to perform high level financial analysis
Excellent computer skills, with demonstrated expertise in finance-related software
Experience in HR administration would also be helpful
This is a 12-month position. Hours can be flexible, and will depend on the qualifications/availability of the strongest candidate.
