Having company is always nice. The students at the St. Marys Catholic Elementary School love it when visitors come to the school. Recently, Emily Schneider came to read to the first grade class. Emily is a college student and wanted to work with the little ones as a part of her college class. She did a great job.
She read White Rabbit’s Color Book and followed that up with a color mixing activity. Then she finished her visit with a reading of the classic book Make Way for Ducklings.
The first graders loved the stories, but they especially liked their guest. They hope she can come back again soon!
