Representatives from PennDOT recently visited Elk County Catholic High School to present Mr. Pete Winklbauer and several of his art students with a certificate for their efforts in the 2018 Paint the Plow Contest.
The students’ artwork earned first place in the artistic division in Elk, McKean and Potter counties. This is the first year ECC participated in the contest and it’s also the first time any school has painted both the front and the back of a plow.
The students that participated include Aliyah Solveson, Jacob Koss, Jesse DeWald, Alicia Kim, Emma Coppolo, Brady Schneider and Alex Breindel.
