The preschool students at St. Boniface Catholic School acted out Jesus’s entry into Jerusalem after a recent lesson about Palm Sunday. The children discussed how they prepare for a beloved visitor in our own homes. They then learned about how excited and prepared the people of Jerusalem were for Jesus’s arrival on Palm Sunday. Students made their own palms and shouted “Hosanna!” as “Jesus” rode triumphantly down the hall to “Jerusalem.”
What a wonderful way to bring Palm Sunday into the hearts of our little ones!
