The sophomore class at Elk County Catholic High School has been learning about chemical reactions.
During today’s lab, students tested the neutralization reaction when an acid and a base are mixed. They used an antacid and lemon juice to mimic stomach acid. During the lab, students measured the changes in pH, temperature, and gas production.
