Enjoy this sneak peek! Today’s featured painting was done by Pamela Wortman Rhodes, Class of ’76. It is a 20×24 oil on a Belgian linen panel. Pamela received her Bachelor of Fine Arts from Edinboro University, Pennsylvania, and her Bachelor of Science in Art Education. Rhoads paints primarily in oils and has exhibited at Davidson County Art Museum, Lexington, NC. She exhibits locally in Florence County, South Carolina, including at the Clay Pot and the Art Trail Gallery in Florence, SC, where she has received numerous awards for her work. Her work has been featured on several covers of SHE Magazine. Many of her paintings are in private collections throughout the East Coast. She was a member of the Artisans of the South Carolina Cotton Trai until the organization ended in 2019. Rhoads is retired and lives in Florence, SC.
