DESCRIPTION:SMCES SUMMER READING AND MATH PROGRAM\nThis year’s Summer Reading and Math program will be free of charge to students currently in grades K-5. This is a federally funded program through Covid relief funds from the IU9.\n* The goal of this program is to help students strengthen their skills in the area of math and reading. Act 89 Math and Title I Reading students would benefit from attending this free program to help with learning loss over the past few years.\n*We will be trying to group students based on their learning needs.\n*Classes will run on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9 a.m.-11 a.m. for 6 weeks. Classes will begin on Tuesday\, June 13 and run through Thursday\, July 27th.\nDiscipline Policy: This is a free\, federally-funded program meant to help boost reading and math skills and prevent summer slide. We will not tolerate\nmisbehavior of any kind during the program.
